Tasty healing Ayurvedic tea against fatigue and stress.

Lemon grass tea is used in Ayurveda to treat stomach aches, coughs, sore joints and fatigue! It is invigorating and tastes great. It grounds you because of the slightly sour taste and is uplifting because of the sweet taste. Prana is in all fresh ingredients and the tea is charged with energy from the fresh lemon grass, lemon and ginger. So you supply your body with prana - energy!

You will need:

4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh lemon grass - equals about 2 stalks

1 liter of water

2 tablespoons organic cane sugar

1 tsp finely grated ginger

1-2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon

Boil the chopped lemon grass in the water over low heat for 20 minutes.

Add ginger and cane sugar and cook for a further 3 minutes.

Then add lemon to taste/need.

Pour the tea through a strainer and drink it either hot or chilled!

Add a little more cane sugar if needed!

This tea is suitable for all 3 doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) as it is both sour, sweet and astringent.
