What is Ayurveda? Vata - Pitta - Kapha

Self-healing
The basic concept of Ayurveda is that we can heal ourselves with the right diet, care and lifestyle. And to know how to do it best, it is important to know the composition of the five elements in your own body - your dosha. Then you can take action and start eating in accordance with your digestion, exercising in accordance with your energy level, finding a body care that nourishes your skin/hair/cell structure, etc.
I provide Ayurvedic consultations that help you get started on correcting habits that are not benefiting you and create a plan for how to begin your own path to balance and self-healing.

The Dosha - your personal constellation
You've probably heard the term dosha, Ayurvedic body type or constellation? These are important Ayurvedic concepts that explain that we all belong to a group of character traits that deal with both our physical body, mentality and behavior.
We all have our own individual composition of energy and genetics. It is your individual blueprint.
It's what makes you creative, happy, thoughtful and aggressive and also what defines your appetite, how quickly you gain weight, whether you're a naturally active person or whether you're better off lying on the couch, whether you're tall, slim, muscular, chubby, freckled, - the list is endless...
